The family called and rushed the emergency vehicle to Dr RN Copper Hospital, which arrived at around 9:45 pm, and was declared dead before admission, the policeman said.
Crime office top Dr R Sukhdev confirmed that Shukla was welcomed dead on Thursday morning. The posthumous assessment was led in the evening.
